Job Duties
- promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and to the community at large;
- promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students;
- commit to education of health professionals;
- perform a variety of duties after training and rehearsal to accurately and consistently portray specific types of patients for cases and/or scenarios;
- simulate all aspects of the scenario, including history of current problem, affect/behavior (personality, emotions) and physical findings, in a standardized, accurate, and reliable manner.demonstrate interviewing skills with medical students, nursing students and others;
- prepare and study for the role of the patient for each case/scenario;
- demonstrate flexibility and reliability with schedules and assignments;
- work in a professional manner when interacting with learners, faculty, staff and peers;
- accurately and consistently complete checklists and/or evaluations of medical student performance;
- accept ongoing feedback from supervisor/trainer and incorporate into case simulation;
- maintain objectivity and confidentiality;
- complete required institutional, program accreditation, and other reports necessary for the advancement of University programs;
- perform other duties as assigned.
