Essential Job Duties:
The Department of Economics invites applications for part-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer positions. These appointments are typically for one semester or one academic year, with the possibility of renewal based on departmental needs and performance.

Lecturers may be asked to teach one to three courses per semester at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Instructional needs may include courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, labor economics, and/or law and economics.

Specific teaching needs for the upcoming academic year will be determined as departmental scheduling and enrollment demands are finalized.

Applications will remain on file for one year should openings arise in subsequent semesters.

Other Work/Responsibilities:

  • Contributing member of the department, college, and university.

Minimum Experience/Education:

  • Requires doctoral degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in the appropriate field of interest.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent teaching ability.
  • A commitment to the success of students and programs at the University.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College teaching experience.
