Job Description
The Ohio University Department of Analytics and Information Systems (AIS) in the College of Business invites applications for one full-time, non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor position. We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated instructor to teach courses in Analytics and Information Systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Python-based analytics, business statistics, and database systems, along with the ability to translate analytical concepts into practical, business-oriented insights. This position supports our mission to prepare students for data-driven decision-making roles in modern organizations. The position is in-person, on campus in beautiful Athens, Ohio. The appointment is set to begin Fall semester, August 16, 2026 and is a limited term position.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's or doctoral degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related field by the start date of appointment.

- Proficiency in Python programming, predictive modeling, prescriptive analytics, business statistics, and SQL and relational databases
- Prior university-level teaching experience
