Primary Purpose of the Position :
General teaching responsibilities for the faculty include both didactic and practicum/clinical instruction along with curriculum and program development and improvement. The faculty will advise and mentor students regarding academic matters and help foster a student-centered learning environment. The faculty will participate in department, division, and university activities. The faculty will teach across programs and perform other duties as assigned by the administrator of the academic program. Consistent with the tripartite mission of the university, faculty are expected to engage in scholarship and service activities.

Preferred Years Experience,Skills, Training , Education :
Preferred candidates must have a doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field. Candidates must hold a current North Carolina Registered Nurse license or be eligible to obtain one. The preferred candidate must have at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience and at least 1 year of teaching experience, including hybrid and/or online instruction, in a college or university setting.
