Job Description

The Administrative Assistant for Interprofessional Education (IPE) and Simulation at LMU-DCOM Orange Park provides comprehensive support to the Assistant Director of Simulation and Training in the management of all aspects of Center operations.

Required Qualifications

Required qualifications include an Associates degree, specific certifications, or commensurate work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in an office setting is preferred.

Job Duties
  • The Administrative Assistant manages departmental calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements while providing general office support, including phone coverage, mail distribution, and equipment operation
  • This role serves as a professional point of contact for visitors and collaborates with Housekeeping, Security, and Maintenance to facilitate special events and meetings, which includes minute-taking and catering coordination
  • Fiscal responsibilities involve managing purchase requests for CIPES Orange Park in conjunction with the Assistant Director.
  • Additionally, the assistant supports simulation activities through proctoring, control room, and attendance tracking, contributes to strategic planning and accreditation reports, and promotes the University mission by fostering positive relationships among faculty, staff, and the community.
