General Summary

The Industrial Technology Coordinator/Trainer is responsible for developing and administering industrial technology training activities for the College. These responsibilities will include implementing, teaching and marketing the Industrial Technology training programs. Will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Develops, markets, and teaches Industrial Training programs to help stimulate economic growth for business and industry.

Researches, develops and evaluates curriculum, instructional materials and training equipment for the Industrial Maintenance Training Programs. Assigns grades, advises students and business customers.

Markets and implements customized training plans for business and industry by providing needs assessments, plan development and follow-up.

Recruits and encourage participants in short term training programs to enroll in traditional classes.

Assist in monitoring the related budget expenditures, revenue generation and progress of all business & industry technology activities, including grant projects.
