The Office of Medical Education (OME) at the University of Colorado School of Medicine (CUSOM) is seeking an Assessment Director for the Accelerated Three-Year Pathway (A3YP). This innovative program is designed to reimagine medical education through acceleration, integration, and alignment with workforce needs.
The A3YP supports several core goals of the School of Medicine:
- Reducing medical student debt
- Addressing workforce shortages in critical specialties and communities
- Advancing innovation in time-variable and precision medical education
- Strengthening the transition from Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) to Graduate Medical Education (GME)
Supervision Received:
This position operates under the Office of Medical Education in the Dean's Office and reports directly to the Associate Dean of Medical Education with dotted line reporting to the Associate Dean of Assessment, Evaluation and Outcomes. The Assessment Director will lead the assessment and academic support processes for accelerated medical students, using data to monitor performance, identify trends, and support timely interventions. This role ensures alignment with institutional goals, LCME accreditation standards, and the School's mission to prepare exceptional physicians through innovative educational design.

This position has no direct supervision.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
Instructor: $25,000 to $50,000 as 0.20 FTE salary support plus benefits, up to the educational salary cap of $250,000
Sr. Instructor: $25,000 to $50,000 as 0.20 FTE salary support plus benefits, up to the educational salary cap of $250,000
Assistant Professor: $25,000 to $50,000 as 0.20 FTE salary support plus benefits, up to the educational salary cap of $250,000
Associate Professor: $25,000 to $50,000 as 0.20 FTE salary support plus benefits, up to the educational salary cap of $250,000
Professor: $25,000 to $50,000 as 0.20 FTE salary support plus benefits, up to the educational salary cap of $250,000
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
