Primary Purpose of the Position :
The Department of Management, Marketing and Management Information Systems in the College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Winston-Salem State University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship beginning August 2026 who will be teaching a variety of entrepreneurship courses. Special consideration will be given to candidates with a demonstrated commitment to research and community involvement.
The candidate would also be expected to serve as a faculty advisor, mentor, and coach students, produce innovative scholarly research that results in publications in peer-reviewed journals within the discipline, present at professional conferences, participate in departmental, college and university service as well as engage in service to the professional discipline and the larger Winston-Salem and Forsyth County community. Procuring extramural funds with interdisciplinary teams is encouraged.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in delivery of both on-campus and on-line classes
- Previous experience engaging with new venture launch and/or operations
- Previous experience procuring extramurally funded grant funds
- Previous experience partnering with business and industry
