Job Description Summary:
This Education Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching graduate courses, including those in our MS and PhD programs in Biostatistics, Health Data Science, and Applied Statistics, Analytics, & Data Science. Other responsibilities include serving on committees, advising and mentoring students, and conducting research.

- Teach statistics, biostatistics, and/or data science courses for graduate students in applied statistics, analytics, data science, biostatistics, and other disciplines.
- Conduct research and/or evaluation.
- Mentor and advise students.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science or related field.
- Master's degree in statistics or biostatistics.
- This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position. The level of degree is based on accreditation requirements, institutional standards of academic and professional excellence, alignment with peer institution benchmarks, and contributes to the credibility and effectiveness of the role within the university community.
- Online education experience as a student or as an instructor.
Work Experience:
- Experience in teaching professional and/or graduate students.
- Experience as a collaborating statistician, biostatistician, or data scientist.
