NEURORADIOLOGIST

FACULTY POSITION - HEAD AND NECK IMAGING EMPHASIS - INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANAThe Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences invites applications for a fellowship-trained Neuroradiologist to join the Neuroradiology Division, a 26-member strong and growing team that includes a dedicated head and neck imaging section. The ideal candidate will have additional training or experience in head and neck imaging and proficiency in interpreting all diagnostic neuroradiology imaging studies. This is an opportunity to practice at one of the nation's premier academic medical centers in a full-time, traditional daytime position with full benefits and provision to balance clinical and academic time. The position may be at the assistant, associate, or full professor level based on candidate experience, with both tenured and non-tenure track appointments available.

Practice Highlights- Adult neuroradiology, including the head and neck imaging position, is based at the IU Health Neuroscience Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, covering multiple in-state hospitals and imaging facilities.- Traditional daytime schedule with no overnight call responsibilities.- Work-from-home opportunities shared among the Neuroradiology team, in addition to on-site assignments.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide high-quality clinical interpretation of head and neck imaging and the full spectrum of diagnostic neuroradiology studies at the IU Health Neuroscience Center, including coverage of multiple in-state hospitals and imaging facilities.

• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and specialty conferences and contribute to educational initiatives across the department and Academic Health Center.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in a supportive academic environment.
• Engage in scholarly activity, quality improvement, and faculty development opportunities aligned with the department's four missions-clinical, research, education, and culture.

Basic Qualifications
Qualifications- MD or DO degree (doctorate or terminal degree required).

• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Neuroradiology and/or eligibility for subspecialty CAQ certification in Neuroradiology.
• Additional fellowship training in head and neck neuroradiology is preferred.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Indiana.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and qualities that further the clinical, academic, and research missions of the department.
• A track record and commitment to education and scholarship in at least one mission area is expected.
• Research experience and grant funding are assets but not required.
