Position Summary

Assistant Trach and Field Coach - Sprints and Hurdles
Department of Intercollegiate Athletics
Full Time/Term

Primary Responsibilities
  • Coaches, recruits, and provides academic oversight for student-athletes
  • Performs administrative duties related to the track & field/cross country programs
  • Promotes Southeast Missouri State University and the athletics program through community involvement
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated successful experience coaching or competitive experience with sprints and/or hurdles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to NCAA regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students, faculty, community and media
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate student-athletes academically and athletically
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
