Adjunct Instructor, Mathematics

Part-time, one-semester contract, with possibility of renewal

College of Humanities and Sciences

Candidates must be qualified to teach "MATH102 Precalculus”, a Precalculus course for non-science majors. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced teacher who applies active student-learning methods in the classroom.

M.A., Ph.D. (or ABD) in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field.

This Fall semester course will be offered in person on our East Falls campus on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:40 – 5:30 pm. Classes begin on August 24 and final grades are due by December 21.

Candidates should submit a letter of application detailing experiences and areas of academic specialization and a curriculum vitae. Additional materials may be requested at a later date. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
