TITLE OF POSITION:

Adjunct Instructor, Narrative Theory

STATUS:

Part-time, one-semester contract, with possibility of renewal

DEPARTMENT:

College of Humanities and Sciences

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must be qualified to teach "Telling Stories: Selling Stories,” an introductory course focused on identifying and exploring the functions of narrative through different media. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced teacher who applies active student-learning methods in the classroom.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Ph.D. or ABD in English, Literature, Cultural Studies or related field is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Two sections of this course will be offered in-person on Jefferson’s East Falls campus in the Fall semester on a Mon/Wed schedule at 11:00 am to 12:15 pm and 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Classes begin on August 24^th and final grades are due by December 21st.
