Job Summary/Basic Function
This position is a Premier Physician Network position.Wright State University and Premier Physician Network have entered into an enhanced affiliation agreement that will transform health care delivery in the Miami Valley and beyond. Minimum Qualifications
Prior to the effective date of appointment*, successful candidates must have:- MD, DO, or MBBS degree; and
- Completed 4-Year Ob/GYN Residency; and
- OB/Gyn Board Certification (or Board-Eligible); and
- Unrestricted Ohio Medical License; and
- Federally-issued DEA License
Essential Functions and percent of time
PPN and BSOM's OB/GYN Department seeks an academically-minded faculty member to join the core faculty team with duties including:- Participating in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical case conferences, and other teaching assignments for residents and medical students, as assigned by and in collaboration with the department and BSOM's academic leadership.
- Contributing to the Department's clinical/patient care, research, and teaching missions.
- Duties include participation in education/supervision of medical students/residents in various settings including inpatient work, Labor & Delivery, OR and outpatient clinic sites; and participation in direct patient care activities.
