JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Penn State Alumni Association, the largest dues-paying alumni association of its kind with more than 174,000 members and over 725,000 alumni worldwide, is seeking an Operations Office Coordinator to join its Operations team. Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations, the Operations Office Coordinator will support the efficient flow of work across multiple teams and projects at the Alumni Association. This position will:
Ensure that Alumni Association projects begin on schedule by keeping track of project charters that need to be written or approved, following up with supervisors across multiple units to identify appropriate team members for projects, and scheduling project kickoff meetings
Assist the Operations team in maintaining information on projects in the project management database to ensure that reports are accurate
Respond to routine and moderately complex questions/issues from staff concerning Alumni Association project management processes
Assist the Executive Director of Operations with market research projects by gathering, assembling and formatting data to create spreadsheets and/or simple reports
Articulate Penn State's needs, ambitions, and values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion, through excellent informal and formal communications
This position will be filled as an Administrative Support Assistant 3. Typically requires a High School Diploma or higher plus two or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will also have:

Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with technology
