The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel is seeking a Hospitality Service Specialist at the Front Desk in our Lodging Operations department. The Front Desk specialists is responsible for:
- Registering and checking out customers/guests
- Answering telephones
- Providing information
- Booking/cancelling reservations'
- Recording messages
- Receive and post payments and charges to property customer/guest accounts to ensure proper billing
- Summarize invoices
- Prepare closing and other necessary reports
- Assist in training new employees
- Maintain files
- Balance all charges and cash drawer daily
- Maintain Payment Card Industry Data Security (PCI) compliance.
Excellent verbal and written communications, as well as attention to detail strongly desired. Days/Shifts: Various/Various. Mainly second shift. Days off vary weekly.
Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
