JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Embedded Forensics and Revers Engineering Department of the Cyber and Innovation Division within the Communications, Information, and Navigation Office (CINO) at Penn State University is seeking a Software Engineer. The successful candidate will perform tasks in the following areas:
- Perform modification of existing software to add features, enhance software and to adapt software as assigned by project lead.
- Perform design, development and test of new software for cybersecurity-related research and applications as assigned by the project lead.
- Assist project lead in performing reverse engineering of existing software
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree. A Computer Science or Computer Engineering is preferred.
A basic knowledge in C/C++ and JAVA programming languages as well as proficiency using Microsoft Visual Studio is required.
Experience with assembly language programming is preferred.
