"ISSUED is looking for stories by active-duty military, veterans, and family members -- specifically, poetry and flash prose that expresses the spectrum of experiences within military life, including gender and sexuality, BIPOC voices, physical and mental health combat, enlisting and separating, family and relationships, and reintegration into society. We're also accepting visual art in any genre."

"TACVPO was created over 40 years ago to help educate staff members at educational institutions across the state of Texas who provide assistance to veterans and their family members that are using Veterans Benefits from the state of Texas or the Department of Veteran's Affairs."
New Career Pathway in Education for NJ Veterans
"Gov. Phil Murphy yesterday signed S2764/A4361 to establish a four-year "VETeach Pilot Program" within the Department of Education which aims to facilitate the teacher certification of veterans to address the high rate of unemployment amongst veterans while ensuring a high-quality teacher workforce. Under the bill, up to four public universities will be selected to enroll veterans of the United States Armed Forces who served on or after Sept. 11, 2001 in a 36-month teacher preparation program."
