Justin Parker

Dr. Justin Parker has worked within a variety of roles in higher education since 2010 after transitioning out of United States Air Force. Justin currently serves as the Director of Veteran and Military Services at Jacksonville State University. His research interests focus on the experiences of service members and veterans in higher education, barriers to access and success in higher education for service members and veterans, and how institutional policies impact service members and veterans. Prior to working at Jax State, Justin worked at both the University of Arizona and the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs in various student support roles with both graduate and military-connected students. Justin holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from St. Cloud State University, a Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Winona State University.
