Kevork Horissian
Kevork Horissian was born in Bulgaria and holds a B.A. in Slavic Languages from the National University, as well as an M.A. in Slavic Linguistics and an M.B.A. from the University of Oregon. He currently serves as the inaugural Chief Analytics Officer at Bucknell University, where he provides leadership for the institution’s enterprise-wide Institutional Research and Analytics function, encompassing AI, analytics, and data science. In this role, he leads the strategic vision for data collection, governance, analysis, and utilization, positioning analytics and BI as core tools for strategic decision-making.
Kevork oversees the development of advanced analytic capabilities, including AI and machine learning, predictive modeling, and enterprise data governance frameworks that treat data as a strategic asset. His work focuses on ensuring that insights are timely, trusted, and actionable across the organization.
Much of Kevork’s research and applied work focuses on analyzing and improving the experiences of students, faculty, and staff. He has led the design, administration, and analysis of many surveys, with findings directly informing institutional strategic and operational planning. A strong advocate for data democratization, Kevork regularly presents his work at national and international conferences, advancing best practices in analytics-driven higher education leadership.
