Emily Allen Williams

Emily Allen Williams is Director of Educational Research Analysis and author of seven books and numerous scholarly essays on Caribbean Culture and Literature and Higher Education Best Practices. She is former Vice President of Academic Affairs and Tenured Full Professor (University of Pittsburgh), Vice Provost of Curriculum and Assessment (Ramapo College), Dean of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (University of the Virgin Islands), Department Chair of English and Tenured Full Professor (Texas Southern University), and Tenured Associate Professor at Morehouse College. Williams holds a Ph.D./D.A. in Humanities from Clark Atlanta University (Atlanta, GA) and a Master of Arts in Linguistics and Literature from Virginia Commonwealth University/VCU (Richmond, VA). Williams was Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus/JA (2000). Williams currently serves as a peer reviewer and site visit chair with Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and serves as a member of the Committee on Recognition (CoR) for the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
